The Bright Lights Festival marks the kick-off to the holiday shopping season in downtown Lethbridge.

Celebrating its 5th successful year, the popular festival is well-attended and is filled with family-oriented activities such as free hayrides, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, popcorn, balloons, live music and, of course, a visit from Santa.

The majority of trees in Galt Gardens Park and on downtown streets are lit up with the help from private donations, corporate sponsorship and the City of Lethbridge.
