ATB Financial and the Downtown BRZ are proud to present another 'Movie in the Park' event for our community. The event will take place on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. The movies will be shown on 'Canada's LARGEST inflatable screen' in beautiful Galt Gardens Park - Pergola area. We will be featuring two huge blockbusters - 'Bee Movie' on Saturday and 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' on Sunday. This is a FREE event brought to you by ATB Financial, Downtown BRZ and participating sponsors. The event starts at 8:00 p.m. with pre-show entertainment and games (Wii Guitar Hero tent, Air Rocker Guitar Hero competition with prizes, music and novelty dances). The movies start at approximately 10:30 p.m. (after sunset). Make sure to bring a blanket or portable chair and your appetite. A concession will be available for movie snacks. The 'Movie in the Park' experience has been described as, "Like a Drive-in theatre without the cars." So, plan on sitting back, relaxing and enjoying "A night under the stars with Hollywood's Stars" from the comfort of your lawn chair. While in the park, make sure to check out the new pergola extension and Rotary Centennial Plaza. The interactive plaza features a 97-jet water feature with LED lights that can create interactive shows choreographed to music. It will be programmed to hold different five-minute shows every 20 to 30 minutes throughout the day. The show will be different every time you visit the plaza.

The Downtown Farmer's Market was developed through a partnership with the Downtown BRZ and Exhibition Park. 

2008 will mark the 3rd year that the Farmer's Market has been in downtown Lethbridge.

The market has been a welcomed addition to the downtown experience. Business owners, employees and residents, from neighboring areas such as London Road, look forward to the start of the Farmer's Market season.

The market takes place every Wednesday, July to August from noon until 5:00 p.m.

The City of Lethbridge's 'Heart of Our City', Downtown BRZ and participating sponsors are proud to present Euro2008 'Taking It To The Street' Festival.

The UEFA European Soccer Championship is one of the largest sporting events in the world and we're bringing it 'to the street' from June 8-14. We will be broadcasting two games per day on a state-of-the-art, 9 x 12 ft., LED screen. The leading European national teams will be competing for the right to hoist the Henri Delaunay trophy. Next to the World Cup, this is your best opportunity to see some of the top soccer stars and teams in action. So, join in on the fun and bring your family and friends downtown to Festival Square to watch your favorite team.

The event will be held in Festival Square (6th Street South between 3rd and 4th Avenue). This is a FREE event for the public. Although some seating will be available, attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs. Refreshments and food will be sold by participating partner restaurants.
