November Roundup

We'd like to take a moment and reflect on some of last month's brightest moments!

November kicked off with the Telegraph Taphouse reopening after doing some renovations. If you haven't checked them out yet, give their revamped space a visit! Downtown Geomatic Attic: an art, music and event space also opened up early November.

Remember our Building Business Downtown winner, Accrual Accounting. He is all settled in at his downtown space now!

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association hosted Taste of Argentina. Check out their social media for all of their Christmas events!

Casa hosted their annual Christmas at Casa event. Vendors filled the whole building and the excitement and joy present, made it truly feel like Christmas day. Following this event, we headed to the SAAG to join Hannah from the Sill and Soil in making wreaths. This was an amazing experience and shout out to Hannah, owner of the Sill and Soil, for being such a great teacher. There was another event at the SAAG that our ambassadors attended called the SAAG Social. They had so much fun at this event, and were so excited to get a sneak peak at the new exhibit.

November 27th was a busy day in our downtown. We hosted our annual Outdoor Holiday Market and  it was such a great success. We would like to extend a big thank you to all the vendors that braved it in the brisk weather, along with the singers from the Southern Accord that provided us with some lovely entertainment, and finally Santa and his elf for getting us in the holiday spirit. Urban Prairie Antiques also hosted a Pop- Up Shop of sea trash glass and more. Lastly, the Galt Museum held a Car Art workshop where you got to make simple car art designs.

November went by so quickly and we are so excited for what December has in store for our downtown. Our office has lots planned, and we know many business in Downtown do as well, so get downtown and #supportlocal!
