The Celebrate Downtown Awards is an annual award event hosted each August by the Downtown Lethbridge BRZ that celebrates the achievements of Downtown Lethbridge, its businesses, and the community! The event includes 8 award presentations, a tabled dinner and drinks featuring Downtown Lethbridge restaurants and vendors, and speeches from various figures in the downtown community.

Award Descriptions People’s Choice - Nominated and voted on by the community as the favourite business in Downtown Lethbridge Heritage - Awarded to the business, organization, or person who has made contributions to preserving the history of downtown Tourism Advocacy - Awarded to the business or organization dedicated to hosting incredible attractions, experiences, and events within Downtown Lethbridge Downtowner - Awarded to the business, organization, or person that lives, breathes, and promotes downtown as a way of life New Downtown Business - Awarded to the business or organization that has opened in the last year and has shown perseverance, success, adaptability, innovation, and more, as nominated by their peers Downtown Business of the Year - Awarded to the business or organization that has exemplified success, adaptability, excellence, great customer service, and more, as nominated by their peers Community Contribution - Awarded to the business, organization, or person who has contributed to downtown in ways such as donations, volunteering, actively participating in community events, or bettering the downtown community Downtown Event of the Year - Awarded to the downtown event that has presented an exciting, exceptional, and entertaining event that has occurred in Downtown Lethbridge over the last year 2024 Award Winners People’s Choice – The Salty Clothing Co.
