Lethbridge Pride Fest 2025: Celebrating 17 Years of Love, Visibility & Community

Lethbridge Pride Fest is back and louder than ever in 2025, marking its 17th year of celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ pride, resilience, and community in Southern Alberta. What began in 2007 as a small BBQ and dance outside city limits has grown into a vibrant, city-wide celebration that brings together people of all identities and backgrounds.

This year's Pride Fest spans the entire month of June, packed with inclusive events, performances, and gatherings that uplift and empower the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Here's a snapshot of what's happening:

Pride Month Highlights

June 7 - Taber Pride

Join the Taber Equality Alliance for a flag-raising ceremony and live music starting at 11 AM.

June 9 - Pride Game Night

Pride Fest and Round Table Board Gamerie team up for an evening of games, laughter, and community connection.

June 15 - Lethbridge Queer Historical Walking Tour

Walk through downtown Lethbridge with Tess McNaughton as they explore local queer history and significant sites. Registration required.

June 19 - Climb with Pride

Try something new and enjoy an inclusive night of climbing at Coulee Climbing with members of the queer community.

June 24, 25, 26 - Pride Flag Raisings

Celebrate inclusivity and visibility as Pride flags are raised at City Hall, the University of Lethbridge, and Lethbridge Polytechnic.

June 27 - Two-Spirit Archives Presentation

Discover the powerful stories preserved in the University of Winnipeg's Two-Spirit Archives-a unique and moving look at Two-Spirit history and culture.

June 28 - Pride Parade, Pride in the Park, & Pride Dance

The big day starts at 11 AM with the Pride Parade through downtown Lethbridge, followed by Pride in the Park at Galt Gardens - featuring entertainment, vendors, and community celebrations. Cap off the night with the Pride Dance at the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association, where the celebration continues into the evening.
