Originally from the Cochrane/Calgary area, Sheri moved to Lethbridge in 2015 and quickly grew attached to Southern Alberta-especially the downtown core, for its vibrant atmosphere, and the welcoming community. Since settling here, she's been a strong advocate for small business and has served as a Downtown Lethbridge board member since 2017.

Sheri is a specialized lender who works with healthcare professionals across southern Alberta, helping dentists, veterinarians, optometrists, and doctors access the financing they need. Her support enables them to open clinics, purchase equipment, and secure the financial tools necessary to succeed in their fields.

Her passion for finance began right after high school, when she participated in a co-op program with the Royal Bank of Canada. She started in retail banking as a teller, steadily moved into financial management and leadership roles, and eventually specialized further--first as a Small Business Manager for Southern Alberta, and now as the Commercial Healthcare Professionals Lender for the region.

When asked about her current role, she lit up. What excites her most is working with people who share a passion for helping others. She also enjoys the challenge and opportunity of working within such a specialized sector. Over the last five years, she's become an expert in the unique needs of the healthcare industry, allowing her to build even stronger connections with the professionals she supports.

Outside of work, Sheri enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spending time in nature. She's a big fan of downtown events especially live music and the PrideFest in late June. Sheri is excited to spend even more time downtown this summer and plans to be at most of the events happening throughout the season.
