Housing equipment from bygone era, the building was used as the Telegraph Office until the late 1970s. Then in 2012, this historic Building was converted to a family friendly Gastro pub having kept much memorabilia from the telegraph days. Today, customers walk through the door and step in to the past. 

The Telegraph Tap House has established itself as a place for neighbours and community to share in great food, fantastic beer and culture.

ON TAPS

We are of the belief that beer can be at least as versatile as wine when it comes to food pairing. We offer 33 quality craft beers on draught representing a constantly rotating selection with many one-off brews, collaborations, and seasonal selections among them. A handful of craft ciders are also available on tap and in cans.

However, we are not total beer snobs. We carry a wide assortment of spirits, top-shelf bourbon, single malt scotch, and tequila. Our full-service bar also offers standard mixed drinks, signature cocktails and small selection of organically grown new world wines.

Head chef and his experienced culinary team has added an understated sophistication to our very accessible menu. The cross cultural menu reflects a strong desire to provide familiar, comforting dishes with an emphasis on quality ingredients.

Our meat, fish, poultry and vegetables are either sourced locally, ocean friendly, naturally raised or free run.
